  That’s correct, it’s in pdfimage.cpp, which also defines a function
pdf_count_pages that doesn’t seem to be used anywhere (except in another
function that doesn’t seem to be used anywhere).  It shouldn’t be a
problem to switch to pplib when it’s ready.
