[tex-live] kpsewhich case insensitive?

Both the same:

================================

[C:\work]kpsewhich minionpro.map
c:/tl/texmf-local/fonts/map/dvips/MinionPro/MinionPro.map

[C:\work]kpsewhich MinionPro.map
c:/tl/texmf-local/fonts/map/dvips/MinionPro/MinionPro.map

================================

Further tests show that kpsewhich returns the same filename

as dir returns, regardless of the case in ls-R (when I

manually arrange for it to be different) and regardless

of the case on the command line.

Cheers,

Hi Daniel,

please keep Cc the list.

What does
  kpsewhich minionpro.map
say? And what does
  kpsewhich MinionPro.map
say?

Thanks
