[tex-live] TeXLive error

Hi - just to follow up, I've checked the supported systems page, and found that 10.8.5 isn't supported, so I suppose this is why TeX Live isn't working.


I probably would have noticed this before downloading and installing if it was mentioned on the download page (i.e., https://www.tug.org/mactex/mactex-download.html, which is what Google took me to), rather than just the homepage.


To avoid many others like me sending you unnecessary emails, a note in the error message would probably help too.
