If I print the labels below one another, they are still not printed
sideways.

To print them sideways below one another, I would have to physically
rotate the material which is printed on by 90 degrees, which,
unfortunately, is not possible.

The stripe of labels is like this:

-----------------
| | | | ^
| L1 | | L2 | |
| | | | |
| | | | direction of feed
| | | |
| | | |
-----------------
| | | |
| L3 | | L4 |
| | | |
| | | |
| | | |
| | | |
-----------------
         ^ gap between 2 labels

How do you get them printed sideways by printing them one below the other?
