I am having trouble with luaotfload-tool (Mac OS 10.10.4, MacTeX 2015).
It begins...

...and then hangs -- forever. It was suggested that perhaps reinstalling MacTeX2015 might solve the problem.

Seems a bit extreme to fix one possibly excessively fragile command. Is there a way to reinstall LuaTeX instead?

tlmgr has a --reinstall option which looks promising, but I don't know how it would be called in this case.

Thanks in advance
