[tex-live] babel in Debian

Ung, it looks like that was from old times when thailatex
patched babel.sty ...

I will upload fixe as soon as possible.

For now, people having this problem, should simply do (as root)
	rm /var/lib/texmf/tex/generic/babel/babel.sty
	rmdir /var/lib/texmf/tex/generic/babel/
	mktexlsr /var/lib/texmf/
