[tex-live] How to uninstall texlive2012 ?

Dear Carl Berry, et al.,

I am a user of LaTeX in China. Recently, I've got some embarrass with 
texlive2012 and I want to remove it from my system. But after I scan the 
TeXLive  guide(written by Carl Berry in June, 2012),  I find no solution 
for the stuff.   So  I guess simply removing the related files and 
folders will work, is that right ? (I use Ubuntu 12.04.)
