Poppler should support video annots in pdf files.  TeX's ability to
generate such pdfs appears to have been a motivating factor for the
patches and also for the acceptence of the patches into poppler.

There may be some more outstanding patches, but support already should
work for most media annots in evince and kde's pdf viewer.
