I don't have an Intel machine with 10.4.11, but a PowerPC gives

powerpc-apple-darwin8.11.0

Presumably the Intel will be similar with s/powerpc/i386.  The output
of uname -a is

Darwin stokes 8.11.0 Darwin Kernel Version 8.11.0: Wed Oct 10 18:26:00 PDT 2007; root:xnu-792.24.17~1/RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh powerpc

I think the relevant part is the "8" corresponding to Mac OS X 10.4
(darwin 8), which is unsupported by the TL 2011 binary distribution due
to the way it was linked.  So far, the darwin major version is
incremented by 1 each time a new major version of Mac OS X is released
(e.g., 10.4 --> 10.5).
