[tex-live] How to set the "main platform" in tlmgr

What's the output of 

   tlmgr platform list

? Did you try 

  tlmgr platform remove universal-darwin

already?

BTW, "MacOSX/Darwin" is just a string of characters, supposed to be
displayed on screen.  The actual spelling shouldn't have any impact on
functionality.
