[tex-live] updmap-sys failed in current upgrade

I just ran tlmgr update --self --all myself and it worked like a
charm.

What happens if you run updmap-sys on the command line?

  updmap-sys ; echo $?

What is the exit status reported by "echo $?" then?  If it doesn't
work, check the output of

  updmap-sys --version

And what is the directory "texlive/bin/custom/"?  If you've customized
your TeX Live installation, you probably have to provide more
information.
