[tex-live] Problems with finding files e.g. dinbrief on Ubuntu 10.10

Thanks, did not thought it is so easy ;-)

If I do the installation from the DVD, could it be an enhancement to do
this little change during the installation process to make it more easy?
When will TeXLive and Ubuntu be in synch i.e. allowing installation via
apt-get or aptitude, ppa compatible?
