[tex-live] How to exclude a package from updating?

Am Montag, 12. Dezember 2011 war zu lesen:
> the new libertine-package requires luatex or xetex, but you can not use
> pdftex  any longer to compile your files: either pdftex or libertine.

Does anybody have the last version of the libertine bundle before this update? 
There's the suggestion to provide a frozzen old libertine bundle with Type-1 
support and a new libertine bundle (e.g. called libertineotf like the new 
package file libertineotf.sty) side by side. Unfortunately the maintainer 
declared to finish his work immediatly. But if someone else want to do it, 
he/she will need the prior version, that is not longer available from CTAN.
