[tex-live] oberdiek package update failure

Was oberdiek the largest of the packages being updated?

Did you check the permissions in the texlive tree or do "repair permissions"?
Maybe "ls -lR | grep ..." to see only lines with unexpected ownership.

Do you have antivirus running?

Can you manually download the package and test it with "xz -t"?
