[tex-live] Changes for 2010?

Well ... biber is not in by now, and I am not sure it will be, as

we cannot make any program work and ship a huge amount of dependencies.

Our aim with TeX Live is to keep a consisten set of binaries/programs so
that it behaves the same way on all systems. That means we have to get
all the stuff compiling on all systems. This is already a pain ... dragging
in another big big set of dependencies does not make it simpler.

But that has not been resolved by now??? Or am I wrong? AFAIS the Debian
package still has a RC bug with the comment "as long as this is not
fixed no xindy will enter testing" or so.
