[tex-live] TL-2009 + Win/XP + Rsync + CACLS : Success :-)

Dear Staszek, copy all -- Thank you very much
for your well-meant advice, but there is so far
no evidence that Rsync for Windows is unreliable.
I used it consistently to mirror TeX Live 2008,
and without problems. The problem here is that
XV (a relatively new and untested program) crashed
while unpacking Bayer.source.<whatever>. I could
equally well say to the TeX Live team "Please do
not use XV. Please use ZIP instead. Nobody could
guess before that XV on Windows is so unreliable",
but my plea would fall on deaf ears. So let's
persevere, and try to find out /why/ XV crashed
at this point (crashed, I should add, to the point
where Dr Watson wanted to send a crash dump to
Microsoft -- hardly robust code !).
