[tex-live] Bug report - tl-install fails on Solaris due to tar assumptions

Hi all,

The installer fails on Solaris due to an assumption about tar - 
pgf.tar.lzma won't unpack with POSIX tar as it doesn't understand GNU 
tar's "@LongLink" stuff.

GNU tar is available from at least Solaris 9 at /usr/sfw/bin/gtar - it 
might be worthing at least probing for a compatible tar on Solaris and 
bailing out with an error earlier in the process if it isn't there.
