Or maybe "package source".  Otherwise it can happen that someone
complains that the word "repository" is mentioned somewhere but there
is no proper documentation which describes where in the texmf trees it
is.  The words "source" and "destination" or "target" are clear, the
word "location" doesn't tell you whether a program reads from it or
writes to it.
