[tex-live] TL 09 pretest: xfrac

Hi,

I installed TL09 through MacTeX and, though xfrac is the same as in  
TL08, some packages it depends on have changed or are not installed.  
This sample document

\documentclass{book}%
\usepackage{xfrac}
\usepackage{mathtools}%
\begin{document}

Some text and \sfrac{1}{2}.

\end{document}

stops compiling with

! Undefined control sequence.
<argument> ...xfrac_scalefactor: {.83333}\def:Npn
                                                   \xfrac_relscale:  
{\box_ht:...
l.6 Some text and \sfrac{1}{2}
                               .

And with

Some text and $\sfrac{1}{2}$.

The first error is
