Hi Tomek,

"Or better yet, try to find uninst.bat and uninst2.bat files in ...\tlpkg\installer subdirectory of your TL installation."

I couldn't find any uninst, bat or uninst2.bat in that directory.

I did 'system restore' and but it still shows ABORTED INSTALLATION FOUND. That means somehow texlive was not removed.

Here is the output.

Rerunning the installer will try to restart the installation.
Or you can restart by running the installer with:

Can you figure out what's going on?

Steve,

You need a zip package. Unpack it somewhere and run install-tl.bat.
But before that, try to remove the previous installation if possible.
You will need to rename the TL root directory back to its original
name and run uninstaller. Or better yet, try to find uninst.bat and
uninst2.bat files in ...\tlpkg\installer subdirectory of your TL
installation. Send them to me and I will tell you how to remove
previous TL.

Cheers,

Tomek
