I'm so sorry, I realized I didn't send the message to the mailing list, so
I'm sending it again...

Hello, Norbert.

When installing, I got these messages:

"C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Desktop\install-tl\install-tl>install-tl

Sorry, no translations available for pt; falling back to English.
(If you'd like to help translate the installer's messages, please see
  http://tug.org/texlive/doc.html#install-tl-xlate for information.)
Can't call method "insert" on an undefined value at C:/Documents and

Maybe that method "insert" is the one causing these problems. After having
this message, I used the already mentioned option -lan en, that got the
complete installation.

I understand that mirror selection is independent from language, but
actually it did install from the same mirror where it's said there's no
translation to pt. So maybe in portuguese mirrors the installers don't have
that translation functioning properly, because they did install the english
version. But again, I have no knowledge in these issues, so I'm just
guessing...

Thank you for your time. Hope this information can be of help.

Lucia
