Part of the problem might be that the instruction to specify -location 
is in the "Downloading" section.  I would suggest moving it (essentially 
verbatim) to the "Installing" section, preceding the less-important 
information about the -gui option.

One other (unrelated) suggestion:  In the rsync command for people who 
want to mirror the whole directory, most people will want to exclude 
mactex* in addition to 2008.
