[tex-live] No errors during virgin install

Do you mean output in cmd window or install-tl.log file?
My install-tl.log contains more messages for all postinstall things.

Very strange: you are the system administrator and you cannot write?!
Is that vista or xp? I really hate windows for all those madness.
