[tex-live] Fwd: Problem in installing TexLive-2008

Hi Norbert,

Thanks for your reply. But this did not work. This is what I did:

./install-tl -location /media/TexLive2008/

Then, I got this message:

Use of uninitialized value $location in concatenation (.) or string at
./install-tl line 335.
Use of uninitialized value $location in concatenation (.) or string at
./install-tl line 335.
Cannot find installation source at /media/TexLive2008/! at
./install-tl line 342.

After this I tried:

./install-tl -location /media/TexLive2008/tlpkg

After this, I got again the message:

./install-tl line 335.

./install-tl line 335.
Cannot find installation source at /media/TexLive2008/tlpkg! at
./install-tl line 342.

I think I cannot used install-tl script of network installer to
install from the ISO image which has been burnt on a DVD. Am I right?
