[tex-live] xindy: missing libraries?

a few weeks ago I was able to compile everything without a problem on my
Linux box. Today I encounter the following errors during compilation of
xindy, which point to two missing libraries (libavcall and libcallback).
I 'm pretty sure they were not required last time, and very little has
changed on my machine since then. Any idea?
