What's the point in having language specific *general* documentation
I'm not arguing that texmf-doc is 100% necessary. However, given that
it exists, eradicating it would be an extremely big change. I don't
want to do it, right now, without a compelling reason, and I don't see one.
Also it isn't *general* documentation, see
"General" just means "pure" -- no macros.
* There is french/epslatex-fr, but the original english version is missing!
Despite repeated attempts and promises, the author has never uploaded
the source. It's a long, sad, story.
* texmf-doc/ls-R is missing.
Fine, since you ask, I'll see about adding it. No one seems to have
missed it before ...
