[tex-live] kpsewhich bug in x86_64

Hi,
I installed TL2008, tried to find some files with kpsewhich but it
dies. These are my experiments:

[zw at centos ~]$ kpsewhich language.dat
Floating point exception
[zw at centos ~]$ kpsewhich article.cls
Floating point exception
[zw at centos ~]$ kpsewhich --help
Floating point exception
[zw at centos ~]$ which kpsewhich
/usr/local/texlive/2008/bin/x86_64-linux/kpsewhich
[zw at centos ~]$ uname -a
Linux centos 2.6.17 #3 SMP Mon Sep 24 19:59:57 CEST 2007 x86_64 x86_64
x86_64 GNU/Linux

I tried the same on i386-linux and it works fine. Both computers have
CentOS 4.6.
