[tex-live] revisions going backwards?

More than 6 weeks ago tlmgr while updated directly from
ftp://tug.org/texlive/tlcritical went amok and deleted half of
packages. Then I reinstalled all the collections and after everything
works normally except  of this kind of messages:

perltex.x86_64-linux: local revision (9317) is newer than revision in
http://ctan.org/systems/texlive/tlnet/2008 (8601), not updating.

(63 binary files in total and this goes from November 14; I am not
sure that the number does not decay).

So I run

update --list | grep -v "not updating"

for more readable output
