Hello Natalie,

I just read your posting. All you need is to add ", exec" to the cdrom
options in "/etc/fstab". Example:
...
/dev/scd0       /media/cdrom0   udf,iso9660 user,noauto,exec,utf8   0 0
...
Should you have "noexec" then delete it. 

In order to run "./install --gui" (with GUI) you need to install
"perl-tk" first.
