[tex-live] TEXDOCVIEW_pdf ???

I wrote:

 > export TEXDOCVIEW_pdf='(kpdf %s) &'

I see the name of the variable was wrong. It should be

   export TEXDOC_VIEWER_PDF='(kpdf %s) &'

But the result is the same. "Evince" instead of "kpdf" starts. What is 
wrong?
