The configure problem, I meant...

Some feedback about the compilation from source:
 - the compilation first failed because I have the E variable set in my
 - then
unsetenv E
 env LD_OPTIONS=-R/usr/local/lib Build
fails on
./Work/utils/pdfopen/config/install-sh being not executable.

Once the x bit set on this file, Build on Sparc-Solaris8 is successful.

There must be somewhere in a Makefile a reference to $EXXXX
instead of $(EXXXX)...

Then, the config procedure
fmtutil-sys --all
is successful, unlike using the binaries coming with live, where fmtutil
failed on three formats:
This is a summary of all `failed' messages and warnings:
 `xetex -ini -jobname=xetex -progname=xetex -etex xetex.ini' failed
 `xetex -ini -jobname=xelatex -progname=xelatex -etex xelatex.ini' failed
 `xetex -ini -jobname=cont-en -progname=context -8bit *cont-en.ini' failed
However the TDS may explain this, I made two distinct installations, one
from inst with the live binaries (sorry, I thought the solaris binaries
came with it as usual), one from live with the compiled source.
