as karl reported a while ago: they don't respond and don't seem too

(btw, this is one reason why there is a market for p4: if one's workflow 
depends on support and such, a commercial version often has better papers)

is there a way to measure the bottleneck?

e.g. is subversion using compression like rsync does when sending files?
