[tex-live] ls-R file get strange permissions

Hi All!

Again it happened to me: After a p4 sync our ls-R was only readable by
myself, but not group/world. The modification time of the ls-R file is
30. April, so I guess that it was created by 
	change 6961 edit on 2005/04/30 by karl at karltug
	regenerated by ./tlrebuild
Now my question: Is it a failure und MY side that this file gets these
strange permissions again and again (it happened at least three times,
and of course normally when I am away), or is there something wrong on
the server?
