[tex-live] tpm directory names

    previously ...\tpm\collections, ...\tpm\packages, ...\tpm\schemes
    are now ...\tpm\collection, ...\tpm\package, ...\tpm\scheme

Hmm.  I suspect this was a change between 2002 and 2003, and installing
the new TeX Live version in a new directory would be the way to go.  
Incremental updates of TL are not, at present, possible.

On the other hand, there was a release in 2004, too.  So in general it
would be nicer to install that than the 2003 version, of course.
Unfortunately there was no GUI installer for Windows with the 2004
release, although a cmdline installer was written shortly afterwards,
and a GUI installer is being tested now.

gives more links.  (Feel free to ask if you're not sure what to do after
reading that.)

Finally, if you're in the mood to test a beta release, you might look at
http://www.fptex.org.  The author, Fabrice Popineau, has written nearly all
the Windows support for TeX Live for years.
