I *know* several installations (esp. in high school laboratories)
where TeX is served from Unix boxes.
Well, I don't know if it will fit, but we can try it. For tonight, I
put back most of the windows packages, excluding only xemacs and the
static binaries. We'll see what that weighs in as.
