    Another problem is with texdoctk: for Win32 Fabrice provides all needed
    perl libraries, but standard Linux installation doesn't have eg. Tk.pm.

For a program named texdoctk, people should not be surprised that it
requires tk modules.

    Having RH9.0 installed I cannot even find which package can have it :(

I didn't download it, but I would guess it's in Tk-804.026.tar.gz or
whatever is most recent in cpan.org/modules/by-module/Tk/.
