sorry, i meant the doc/enctex/base/encdoc-e.pdf crashes xpdf, when switching to page 2. And also the encdoc.pdf lets xpdf end with segfault. Acroread can handle both files. After recompiling with recent pdftex it's ok also for xpdf. Regards, Hartmut
