The main thing that is left to do is Tools/update-lists but I see it is
calling p4 (just like Tools/tlrebuild does) which is a bit inconvenient (I
don't think I have permission to do all those p4 operations on your
repository and I really would NOT like to have that permission, lest I
damage something in your tree accidentally.

Is there a way to generate those lists without referring to your
repository, i.e. working purely on my snapshot which was fully synced with
your tree this morning? (Maybe I should just read p4 doc to see what those
operations do and just comment them out in the script...)

I understood MakeImage.sh (and how it prepares archive zip files) and
install-compr.sh and I updated common.sh and utils.sh to select x86_64
architecture correctly, but if I start the installation then not all files
are actually copied because there were no "list files" in
Master/texmf/lists for this architecture when MakeImages.sh was run.

Kind regards
Tigran
