Sure, but the whole point here is that Springer put on its own invalid
proprietary copyright.  We cannot let it stand unchallenged.

BTW, could someone scan the CD label and put it on the web somewhere?

I find it easy to believe that it was a "standard" imposed by Springer
production out of ignorance, and not out of malice.  However, that does
not relieve them (and you, as the principal author) from having to make
some remedy.  I know this is a huge hassle, but is that not reasonable?
