[tex-live] [OT] math font choice

Hi friends!

One (off topic) question: What reasonable alternatives fro serious math
type setting to the cm fonts exist? Are there any freely available? I
would like to use Lucida Bright and Math, but 200+ USD for getting them
from Y&Y is to much for a student. Are there any other combinations,
including old-style numerals and small caps.
