[tex-live] images in PS output

Hi folks,

I've a small problem with images when generating PS output
from DVI files...

Preamble: in my documentation projects, I store images
as EPS and generate DVI files with latex. Then, I use
dvips to generate PS/PDF output.

Well, when I generate PDF output with the command

  dvips -q -f -Ppdf -G0 myfile.dvi | gs -q -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH \
  -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile=myfile.pdf -c .setpdfwrite -

I get good quality images, while when I generate PS output with
the command

  dvips -q -Pcmz -Pamz myfile.dvi -o myfile.ps

I get really poor quality images.

Any ideas?
