I was afraid of that ;-)

So, please find a new name or make this one official for this :

D:\Source\fptex\texk\web2c>static\tex
This is TeX, Version 3.14159 (Web2c 7.3.7)
**^C
D:\Source\fptex\texk\web2c>static\tex --src
This is src-special-TeX, Version 3.14159 (Web2c 7.3.7)
**

By the way, I totally agree with Frank proposition that every single
active feature be displayed with the banner, but do we have time
currently to fix all of them ?

It will add special{src:filename:line} everywhere in you dvi file, in
a quite crude way. Your viewer will then be able to pass
filename/line# to your editor when you click on the dvi file displayed.
XDvi(k) is making use of this now.
