I produced new pictures for each screen and send them to Sebastian.
My set consisted of 
   examples/*.eps      14.278.241 bytes
   graphics/*.gif         621,130 bytes
   graphics/*.jpg         417.076 bytes
   graphics/*.gif         748.442 bytes
each with 11 objects

For producing my versions of doc I always have to copy all
the file into /english/example, /german/example, /english/graphics, ...

As long as we are using the same screen shots for all (?)
languages, we should change the subdirectory setting to 
save space.
