New set of binaries for TL5

I've received several messages that Linux binaries from TL5b cannot work
on many installations, even e.g. on SuSE with glibc 2.1 (??).
As I know, compiling with glibc2.0 should work also with glibc2.1.
Am I wrong?
Sebastian, which version of lib was used? What to do?
Many users are happy with their Linux installations, so using the newest
libraries is perhaps not fine idea.
