[tex-k] gftodvi fails on cmtex10 font

Are you surprised by this deficiency in gftodvi? The message seems
self-explanatory to me and, I suspect, to you too, so I'm not sure why
you're reporting it.  You have to make slant fonts to get slanted rules,
as you probably know, but an error message is not the place to explain that.

Or are you troubled by the lack of a newline? -k
