I checked with 'which updmap' just now: there was a copy of an elder  
version in root's PATH! Ahrrg! I think I patched it to run faster and  
not give power to the CPU fan (power should belong to the people).

The updmap script has version:

	updmap-sys version $Id: updmap.pl 21946 2011-04-04 00:16:58Z karl $
