[tex-k] detex bug

Folks:

When I process the following file through "detex -l"

------------------------
\documentclass{minimal}
\begin{document}
some text \kern-1em$A B$ more text $xyz$ still more text
\end{document}
------------------------

the output is

------------------------


some text Bxyz

------------------------

which is incorrect.  (Adding a space after \kern-1em is a workaround.)
