I try to convert a dvi file, created in Texlive, toa ps one.
The system gives the message: "bad DVI file, first byte not preamble".
Is the dvi file empty? I would surmise something is wrong in the
installation and TeX didn't even run properly, but this is not enough
information to guess what ...
