[tex-k] (fwd) Bug#337805: tetex-bin: dvips should include document's title in Postscript instead of DVI filename

Dear members of tex-k,

the following wishlist bug was submitted here at the Debian bug
tracking system. We'd like to know if that feature is already
implemented in dvips and if yes how do one has to use it.
If no: would it be easy to implement (perhaps over some \special)?

Thanks,
  Hilmar Preuße

Subject: Bug#337805: tetex-bin: dvips should include document's title in Postscript instead of DVI filename
Date: Sun, 6 Nov 2005 17:34:25 +0100

Package: tetex-bin
Version: 2.0.2-31
Severity: wishlist

When generating the Postscript, dvips puts the filename of the DVI in
the Title:

	%%Title: foo.dvi

It should be possible to have the document's title when it is somewhat
available, like in most LaTeX documents.

e.g.

	%%Title: History of Foo

when you have

	\title{History of Foo}
