I don't know if texinfo.tex coming with teTeX 2.0.2 or in TeX Live
source.development is the official one, but both of them contain
the @ifpdf definition:

*@show at ifpdf
> @ifpdf=@iftrue.

(shown in case of running pdftex)

*@show at ifpdf
> @ifpdf=@iffalse.

(shown in case of running tex)
